Mike Weddle, head of maintenance at Dynamic Research Technologies, an ammunition manufacturer in Albany, Mo., says he is adding 10 new hires to his staff of 35. A gun manufacturer has threatened to relocate its headquarters outside Connecticut if the state tightens up its gun laws after the December mass shooting at one of its elementary schools. Yesterday Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) revealed that her "assault weapon" ban will not be part of the gun control bill that Senate Democrats plan to offer next month. Although her bill still can be offered as an amendment, Politico reports, "its exclusion from the package makes what was already an uphill battle an almost certain defeat." As Revolution PAC has been warning for months, the gun grabbers' strategy is first to register all guns, then criminalize the ownership of guns by creating an onerous set of rules and regulations surrounding gun ownership, which will guarantee that more and more people will be "out of compliance" and therefore ineligible to own firearms legally, and then finally to arrest the "criminals" and "lawbreakers" and confiscate their guns for noncompliance with the law -- much as states already use the threat of taking away one's drivers license for all manner of non-driving-related infractions. It's already happening in California where the state tracks and disarms people with legally registered guns who have lost the right to own them through some infringement of the law.
